This website, vayk.ae, is operated by VayK Vacation Homes Rental L.L.C. (“VayK”, “we”, “us”), a holiday home management company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website and in connection with our services. Reservations made through book.vayk.ae or through third-party platforms such as Airbnb and Booking.com are also subject to those platforms’ own privacy policies.

2. Information we collect

• Information you give us: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address, property area or community, property details (such as bedrooms and furnishing) and the content of your message, when you use our contact form, revenue calculator or newsletter sign-up, or when you contact us by WhatsApp, phone or email.
• Property owner information: if you appoint us to manage your property, the information needed to provide that service, such as ownership and identification documents and payout details, collected under your management agreement.
• Guest information: if you stay at a property we manage, your booking details and the identification required for guest registration under Dubai holiday home regulations.
• Information collected automatically: technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring website and interactions such as clicks on our WhatsApp or phone links, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

3. How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiries and prepare revenue forecasts you request.
• To provide, manage and invoice our property management services and to administer guest stays.
• To comply with legal and regulatory obligations, including guest registration with the relevant Dubai authorities.
• To measure and improve the performance of our website and advertising.
• To send you market updates where you have asked to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time.

4. Cookies and advertising

We use the following third-party tools, which may set cookies or use similar technologies on your device:

• Google Ads – conversion tracking and remarketing.
• Microsoft Advertising (UET) – conversion tracking and remarketing.
• LinkedIn Insight Tag – conversion tracking, website analytics and ad targeting.
• Google Fonts – fonts are loaded from Google servers, which receive your IP address.

These providers may use this information to show you VayK advertisements on other websites and to measure their effectiveness. You can manage or opt out of personalised advertising through Google Ad Settings, Microsoft advertising preferences and LinkedIn advertising settings, or by blocking or deleting cookies in your browser.

5. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where necessary with:

• service providers that support our business, such as website hosting, email and IT providers;
• booking platforms, payment providers, and cleaning or maintenance contractors, to the extent needed to deliver a stay or service a property;
• government and regulatory authorities where required by law;
• our professional advisers; and
• a buyer or successor in the event of a sale or restructuring of our business.

6. International transfers

Some of our service providers, including Google, Microsoft and LinkedIn, may process information outside the United Arab Emirates. Where this happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers put in place.

7. Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described above. Enquiry details are kept for as long as needed to follow up on your request and for a reasonable period afterwards. Client and guest records are kept for the periods required by applicable law.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, and this website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, to restrict or object to its processing, or to stop sending you marketing. Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time. To make a request, email client@vayk.ae. We will respond within 30 days.

10. Children

This website is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information through it.

11. Third-party websites

This website links to other websites, including booking platforms and social media. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page with its “last updated” date.
